Each year, Indiana University South Bend holds a Welcome Back Fair. At the fair we have different student organizations, University Departments, non-profit agencies, and local vendors tabling to engage with our students, faculty, and staff. There is no commercial sales, however, many of our tables will be giving out free give-aways, information about how to be involved, job opportunities, services, volunteer opportunities, and more interactive events! There will be free food and beverages, games, activities, and more. This year our Welcome Back Fair will be on August 26th from 10 am to 4 pm.

We would like to present to you an exciting opportunity for your business to promote itself to the 8,000 plus members our campus that interact daily near your business.
The main Welcome Back Fair will take place on the campus pedestrian mall on Monday August 26th from 10 am to 4 pm. Once again this year, we want local businesses and community agencies to help welcome our students back. We know that this will give your company or organization a chance to personally interact with the IU South Bend campus community, which includes: students, their families, faculty, and staff. The event traditionally draws over 2,000 people walking through it over the two day fair. This will give you the opportunity to promote your services and products. You are able to give coupons, literature, have interactive games, and other promotional activities, however, commercial interactions are not allowed. You may pass out applications for memberships, services, or other offers, but you may not collect any money or fees at the fair. This still gives you the wonderful opportunity to make a personal connection to our community!
The Campus Mall is the heart of our campus, located between both the Student Activities Center and the Administrative Building. The high traffic area will give your company the prime opportunity and location needed to promote your organization. This year we are offering two options for vendors:
- $100 registration fee
- One table and two chairs
- One announcement over loudspeaker every hour
- Listing on the event program
- $250 registration fee
- Two tables and four chairs with priority location
- Access to electricity and space for a canopy tent
- Company logo on the event program and advertisements
- Guarantee relocation availability in case of inclement weather
- One announcement over loudspeaker every 30 minutes
